New Year- Update

The holidays are OVER!! No more excuses to eat that final piece of pie!

Just a little update on how things have been going. As far as making it to the gym daily, that has been going really well. I have only missed a couple days in the week since I started this blog. The whole "eating healthy" thing has been good for the past few days. There was a birthday at work and we all know with birthdays comes cake. I had one small piece of cake, I couldn't resist. I guess I need to work on my self control.

I have noticed that I am going through what can only be described as sugar withdraws! I have had headaches and everything, it is super weird. I find myself thinking about cake and cookies and getting angry because I cannot have them. I honestly think I am addicted to "sweets!" I have heard that it just takes a few weeks to kick an addiction and hopefully this is true in my case as well. I know that one day I will be able to have "cheat meals" and desserts, but as of right now cold turkey is the what I need to do to drop this habit.

This week not much has changed physically. I am weighing 169, which that pound could have been water weight loss so I am not to super excited about it. My cloths still feel the same way as well. I feel better though, I feel good about what I am doing and my goals, so I guess that is all that really matters.

Hopefully next week there will be more progress made :)
